Bell Schedule Changed
Byrd Avenue is back to the old schedule that students had at the beginning of school. Students and staff had to make up time during the instructional day due to Hurricane Isaac. Now students and staff are back to the original time and ready to engage in meaningful learning. Our bell schedule is listed:
7:20- Arrival of Bus Students
7:30- Arrival of Car Students
8:20- Instructional Day Begins
3:30- Bus/Car Riders are Dismissed
Students are marked tardy after 8:20A.M.
Grading Scale Changed
Our grading scale for K-1 students has changed from the traditional grading system to the new
OSNU system. Students are still graded on their academics and the point range is comparable to the
traditional grading system. Students still must have O’s and S’s that are A or B average to be on considered having the Honor Roll. Below is the grading scale that will be used in grades K-1.
